This is a proposal for us to work cooperatively for the Athletic Department and the school to receive action sports images and for myself to cover my costs and expenses. 
 

Many HS Senior Picture Companies have used me to photograph activities and sports. The images go to the yearbook advisor and the Athletic Departments have little or no way to view or use them. This idea is intended to help your department in this area. You may have an agreement with a studio for senior portraits, proms, dances-all revenue advantageous for them, and those studios should supply the school with free images for the school yearbook- images whether good or bad for this area is indifferent to them.

There are several proposals, all intended to promote the student athlete.

Sports games are coordinated with the AD or coaches. The images are intended for use by the athletic departments. If the AD wants to share with other departments you have my full permission to do so. The images can be used in any manner to promote the school ad infinitum. I will typically choose a game if there is an overlap with another client school, but this is flexible.

A) The school receives twenty (20) 300 dpi. images by e-mail. Simply go to my website, click on “Sports Games and Events” and click on “Photo Albums” and choose the images by their number. You then e-mail me and the images are cleaned up best way possible and sent to an e-mail of your choice. A sufficient image size on a website is 300 dpi, You can have e-mailes any of the images at 600 dpi you saelect. They can be useful for publications or media promoting the athlete and school.

 B) If the school wants images to produce wall hangings a cd of 20 images, each image is at 2 gigabyte, is at $ 30 to cover my expenses and mailing.

C) Consider using the game for fund raising. A collage, click on side button,  can be produced showing all the athletes in action in the game. The images can be my choice or yours. A reasonable size is 11x14 inches. There are examples on my website of collages or some can be sent for you to peruse. We can work together on the content. Both of us would work out a reasonable revenue share.

How do we help each other? It is imperative that the parents are informed that there are game images on my website. Cards can be passed out by the coach, myself, volunteers  at the game or by the school notifying the parents by e-mail or listed as a sponsor on the school website. Everything is intended to be done in full compliance with your school-league policy. Small temporary banners can also be posted at a game and removed by myself after the game.

I have dealt with the NCAA, Olympic Groups, colleges and other organizations on the proper usage of an athlete’s image. My concerns are strictly with the integrity of the school, coaches, athletes, parents and community.
