 Small Studio vs. Large

With us, the bride and groom get to meet the photographer who will be present for their wedding day. I have subcontracted for several large studios that may have several excellent in house photographers, but typically they provide a photographer from their large photographer list. The experience of these can vary and typically the Large Studios employ those that they can pay the smallest fee, with quality, bedside manner and experience suffering. Further you probably will not meet the photographer, see their work and while they will call on a date prior to the wedding, they can are substituted several times without the couple knowing. I know since sometimes the night before I was substituted by Large Studios and if I did not tell the couple there was a change they would not know they never talked to me. Many times newly weds when contracting with Large Studios used by a previous known client, a request is often made for a certain named photographer NOT to photograph the wedding.

When a large studio requires full payment before the wedding date, rest assured that if something goes wrong-rare but it does happen-the newlyweds will never see a restructure of the contracted fee, but offered only additional photos and copious grief in the resolution process.

To see Wedding Information & Packages - See "Referral Fee" below

1. Professional coverage at your house-dressing location, church, park and reception of the newly weds choice.

2. Professional equipment is used to insure the newly weds receive top quality.

3. Professional backup equipment is brought to your wedding. This includes additional cameras, lenses and flash units.

4. The bride and groom are provided with a list of poses which help you select the ones you want along with any additions or deletions. The poses can change any time throughout the day and even moments (milliseconds) before an image is taken.

5. Contracted length of the wedding day is typically for nine hours, with a fee of $ 30 per each hour.

6. The newlyweds are instructed on all aspects and formalities of the wedding to make the day enjoyable.

7. The newlyweds keep all film negatives and digital images on a CD. This promotes the couple to save post wedding costs since they can make as many reprints or enlargements as needed. This avoids paying extra fees to a photographer.

8. We provide Online Hosting for family and friends to view. This provides everyone a chance to see the preview images and helps the newlyweds from passing the preview book around and eliminates delays in its return. When possible, never lend the preview book to anyone. If someone wants to purchase an image it can be from us or you can e-mail them a digital image and save yourself the problem of collecting print costs.

9. When a package is agreed upon the price is not fixed and changes only if the newly weds so choose. The price includes all expenses, including local travel expenses, extra time as discussed.

10. Changing Album & Print Costs: Since weddings are booked up to one year in advance, there can be up to a 10 % increase in these costs. When necessary, this is discussed with the newly weds for an amicable resolution.

11. Wedding Cancellation: If a wedding date is changed to occur within the year, every effort will be made to

re-schedule the date at no loss of the retainer fee.

12. Payment: Half of the agreed amount for the Photo Package is paid before the wedding date to reserve the date and the other half-minus $ 100- is paid upon photographer’s presentation of the preview album after the wedding date.

Any couple who signs an agreement on the initial meeting receives a10%

 discount on their package.
